Cardiovascular System |
|
Cardio means heart, and cardiovascular health means working out your heart making it stronger and healthier. In order to maintain cardiovascular health you must exercise at least 20 minutes a day to be healthy. This is an excellent way to prevent heart diseases and obesity. The intensity needed for cardio depends on what you do if you choose to be intense or beginner. This would be what cardio is and how it is really good for you.
To live a healthier life we must be active, eat healthy and take care of ourselves. We need to get that heart rate going not to intense anything that you can handle. Some activities we do in physical education (P.E) that’s cardio is running around the school, swimming, and my favorite sport basketball. We still do many other activities but these are examples of what we do. What I am going to do during summer vacation is run, workout as I started and still doing since January and I am also going to stay active and not eat junk.
Three types of cardiovascular activities would be aerobics, burns lots of fat and increases the heart rate. Another basic activity you might know would be running or jogging it burns calories and easy to do no equipment needed. Last activity but not least its swimming, swimming is an exercise in which the whole body is needed. How we can help is when having nothing to do go for a jog or a run. If its a hot day go swimming just stay active make sure you are working out, get your heart rate going (get that heart pumping).
